Building an employee health program for health promotion, disease prevention and safety consciousness, can be challenging in these changing times. Healthworks is pleased to announce your facility has an opportunity to learn from peers; to hear how they have built employee health, wellness and safety programs which promote healthy, productive staff and safe working environments. This cohort project is designed to implement and expand an effective employee health, wellness and safety program.
Hospitals participating in this project will:
- Assess existing program deficits and identify priorities for improvement;
- Incorporate resources/guidelines to strengthen existing programs; and
- Develop a strategy to lead an effective employee health, wellness and safety program.
The project will use a mix of in-person and virtual sessions with a kick off in Wichita on June 6. Participation includes access to technical experts in employee health, wellness and safety, project management staff to help identify opportunities for improvement and a platform for you to share/brainstorm with peers. Additionally, you will be provided with tools and resources that can be applied for continued improvement after the conclusion of the project.
We are looking for 6 to 9 hospitals to be part of this project. This is a pivotal time to be involved and will help your hospital value your most important resource….your employees. Join the project and become a leader among your peers as we work to enhance employee health, wellness and safety in Kansas Critical Access Hospitals.
