Patient experience surveys not only offer insight as to how the patient and their families view your facility and the care delivered, but also provide opportunities for improvement.  With Swing Bed patient experience options limited, this project allows your facility to share best practices and network with other Kansas facilities.

Onboarding of CAHs will start in November.  Participation includes access to a technical expert in Patient and Family Engagement, project management staff to help identify opportunities for improvement, and a platform for you to share/brainstorm with peers. Additionally, you will have access to your data via a custom, interactive dashboard with reports.

Since fall 2019, we have had 13 hospitals pilot this project utilizing Survey Solutions as the vendor.  We are ready to open this engaging work up across Kansas with an abundant amount of comparative data available for incoming facilities.  This patient feedback can help you build your Swing Bed program by utilizing the data to build your community’s knowledge of your Swing Bed program and market to potential patients and referral sources.
