Abstraction Virtual Training:
Navigating the data collection process connected to MBQIP can be complicated. The Kansas Department of Health and Environment, in partnership with the Kansas Hospital Association and Healthworks is offering virtual abstraction training. This session provides an overview of quality data reporting and abstraction which are necessary for successful participation in MBQIP. Specific topics covered in this training include:
- Components of Quality Data Collection;
- Review of MBQIP Measures;
- Review of CART, the CMS Abstraction and Reporting Tool;
- How to Report CART Data to Quality Net;
- How to Report Emergency Department Transfer Communication Data Collection;
- Review Process of Reporting EDTC Measures to QHi; and
- How to Develop and Implement an Action Plan.
The virtual training is scheduled from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. The cost per connection is $25.
